Meetings - Bloomsbury Speakers

Our regular meetings are held on the 2^nd and 4^th Mondays of each month, with members and guests arriving from 6.35pm for a 6.45pm start.

We also often hold one or two additional meetings each month so check our Meetup and Eventbrite pages for details of the next one.

We aim to finish the meeting by 9pm and members will usually hang around afterwards for a couple of drinks and a catch up!

To maintain a supportive and respectful environment, we ask that all new guests adhere to the following rules:

Respect the Speaker: Please do not interrupt or speak while someone is already on the stage delivering a speech. Every speaker deserves the right to speak without interruption. If you have comments or questions, hold them until the speaker has finished.
No Forced Participation: While we encourage everyone to participate, we understand public speaking can be daunting for some. Do not pressure anyone to get on the stage or make a speech. Everyone is here to learn at their own pace.
Constructive Feedback Only: If providing feedback after a speech, ensure it is constructive and helpful. Do not resort to personal attacks or offensive language.
Punctuality Matters: Start and end times are set for a reason. Please arrive on time and respect the schedule.
Confidentiality: What’s shared in the club, stays in the club. Many speakers share personal stories as part of their speeches. Please respect their privacy.
Respect Everyone: We value diversity and inclusivity. Treat everyone with respect, regardless of their race, religion, gender, age, or nationality.
